I’m Groot, based in Nairobi — a passionate photographer and artist who believes every fleeting moment deserves to be remembered. I grew up wandering city streets and rural paths alike, camera in hand, chasing golden hour light and genuine smiles.

What moves me most is capturing the beauty hidden in everyday life — the curve of a horizon, the warmth of a grin, or the silent story in a forest’s mist. I specialize in scenic landscapes, candid portraits, art-inspired compositions, and travel stories that feel alive.

Each image on this site reflects more than a scene — it reflects a feeling, a memory, a mood. One of my most meaningful projects was when I spent dawn photographing Nairobi’s skyline merging with sunrise, and realized how a moment’s light can change how we see the world.

My aim is simple: to share art, beauty, and emotion through light and lens — so that you can feel beyond what meets the eye.
